We have over 47 years of experience in serving diverse communities, assisting individuals to access training, finding work and helping employers recruit candidates for their business.

Toronto Community Employment Services (TCES) is a non-profit charitable organization serving the employment and training needs of Toronto residents and the Greater Toronto Area since 1978. 

TCES is located in central Midtown Toronto a 5 minute walk from Yonge-Eglinton Stations at the Northwest corner of Redpath and Eglinton.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Office Assistant

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Volunteer Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist job seekers with program information, and help maintain a welcoming environment. The position also requires the ability to calmly and respectfully de-escalate tense situations with individuals who may be frustrated or upset. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, the ability to de-escalate situations involving irate individuals, and a strong commitment to protecting client confidentiality and sensitive information. Digital Marketing Volunteer

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and creative individual specializing in marketing to lead the organization’s digital marketing efforts under the guidance of TCES Management. As a Digital Marketing Volunteer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand our reach and increase public awareness of our programs and services. This role involves leveraging various social media platforms to share information, engage various community partners and strengthen our online presence.
