Warehouse Labourer

Rate: $17.20-18/h

Location: 427 & 401

Hours: 40h/week

Type: Full-time; permanent

Shifts: 0800-1600; Mondays – Fridays

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate
will assist with various tasks including site preparation, material handling, and maintenance duties. The
role requires physical stamina, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and carrying materials
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, delivering supplies to job sites or storage areas
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely, such as hand tools, drills, or forklifts (if trained)
• Clean and prepare job sites, removing debris, and ensuring safety standards are met
• Support skilled tradespeople as needed, including carpenters, electricians, or machine operators
• Help with the setup and dismantling of equipment or scaffolding
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with inventory checks and material stock management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehouse work is an asset but not required
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and practices
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (if outdoor work is required)
