Location: Travel throughout Greater Toronto Area; Head Office in Etobicoke

Employment Position Offering: There are 3 (Lead Painter) positions being offered.
Employment Experience: A candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of prior experience within the painting industry.
Employment Requirements: A candidate must be bondable.
Employment Compensation: $24 p/h (beginning pay), frequent compensation increases to $26 p/h, and then gradually to $28 p/h (which is based on progression of skill and overall performance). There are bonuses (additional income) available for Lead Painters who assist with the marketing efforts of obtaining contracts. Compensation is determined by a contract budgetary condition and specific hours allocated system.

Employment Timeline: Commencement of employment as of Monday September 4, 2023 (and onward).
Employment Training: There is a 4 to 6 month training program.
Employment location: The Toronto borough of Etobicoke is the base of operations, although there is frequent travelling to contracts that are located throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Transportation conditions: Most locations of (contract) painting and decorating project sites are located within the boundaries of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). An automobile is convenient and beneficial, although is not a necessity for this employment position.
Employment Description: A Lead Painter assists with the primary customer service functions and performance of painting and decorating on a project site.
A Lead Painter assists Crew Chiefs with the task of project management.
Employment Objective: As a Lead Painter progresses their trade skill, customer service relations, and overall project management capabilities, they may be requested by a Crew Chief or more senior official such as a Supervisor, to assume more responsibilities with the daily operations on a specific project site. Lead Painters are frequently challenged so that they can be assessed and considered for further advancement i.e.: being promoted to Crew Chief status.
