Job Description
As a Client Services Representative (CSR), you will be joining one of Canada’s leading Foreign Currency Exchange companies, and will be part of a team entrusted with the important role of interacting directly with clients to carry out Foreign Exchange transactions and provide advice in order to find the best solution to meet their individual needs.
This full-time position is ideal for a candidate with existing retail foreign exchange experience seeking a more senior role with additional compensation. Compensation for this position would be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide industry-leading customer service to clients in accordance with company standards
- Assist clients with inquiries and provide advice on the most suitable services
- Process foreign currency transactions for clients by bank draft, wire transfer, and cash
- Cross-sell other appropriate business products and services
- Balance and reconcile cash float at start & end of the shift
- Assist with opening & closing the branch
Qualifications and Skills:
- This position is open to candidates with prior retail banking or other foreign exchange experience
- A dedicated, professional individual committed to industry-leading customer service standards
- Must be friendly, energetic & enthusiastic, with a professional appearance
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to thrive in a team environment
- Computer literacy is a must
- Comfortable with basic numerical calculations
- Previous customer service experience an asset
- Must be a high school graduate; University or College degree an asset
- A background check will be required for this position
- The successful candidate must be flexible with scheduling & location including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends
