We are a startup dedicated to solving the housing crisis for newcomers in Canada. Our online platform helps newcomers find monthly prepaid safe and affordable accommodation without the hassle of credit requests, time consuming blind search or lump sum payment. Our mission is to provide newcomers with safe and affordable accommodation , while supporting them on building their credit score. As the team is growing, we are looking for an Account Executive to support the growth of our company and help set up new listings and communicate between internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and reporting directly to the CEO and Founder.

Job Summary:

As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding our business relationships within our diverse global client sectors. This position is centered on identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities among existing clients as well as discovering and developing new business prospects. You will be instrumental in driving revenue achievements for our educational services and product divisions, ensuring both the retention and expansion of our client base. This role demands a
strategic approach to client management, aiming to meet or exceed specific revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and enhance relationships with key accounts, consistently exploring and seizing opportunities to maximize value and revenue. Engage in regular interactions with clients to understand their needs fully and exceed their expectations.
  • Strategic Business Development: Leverage extensive industry networks and superior prospecting skills to identify and secure new business opportunities. Develop and implement targeted strategies in collaboration with senior management to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Sales Execution and Support: Participate actively in sales meetings and calls, prepare detailed proposals and RFPs, and assist in negotiating and closing deals. Ensure thorough follow-up and support throughout the sales process to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities. Utilize insights to adapt strategies and offerings, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Lead Generation and Marketing: Drive the generation of new leads through effective marketing strategies and participation in industry events like tradeshows and webinars. Manage and nurture leads to convert them into profitable business outcomes.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to management detailing sales progress, market conditions, and client feedback to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experienced Account Management: Demonstrated ability in managing and growing multiple accounts, with a proven track record of generating new business opportunities and enhancing existing client relationships.
  • Organizational and Time Management Expertise: Outstanding organizational skills, including the aptitude to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated excellence in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Advanced Technical Proficiency: Strong capabilities in using CRM systems and other relevant software, coupled with above-average skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Superior Communication Abilities: We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and engaging effectively with both team members and clients.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities: We value candidates who bring creative problem-solving skills to the table, capable of crafting innovative solutions to any challenges that arise in account management and client service.
