Canda Ontario Job Grant (COJG)

The Canada Ontario Job Grant (COJG) is a training grant available to employers, it provides opportunities for employers to invest in their workforce, with help from the government. The grant provides direct financial support to businesses and organizations with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees.

How Canada Ontario Job Grant Works

> Employers can get up to $10,000 in government support per person for training costs.

> The training has to be delivered by an eligible, third-party trainer.

> Employers with 100 or more employees need to contribute 1/2 (50%) of the training costs.

> Small employers with less than 100 employees need to contribute 1/6 (20%) of training costs.

> Employers must complete the Online Application and select Service Provider: TCES – Toronto for the application to come to us for assessment.

Employer Eligibility

> Licensed to operate in Ontario

> Compliance with workplace, human rights and labour legislation

> Have Workplace Safety and Liability Insurance (WSIB) or alternative third-party insurance

Meeting the initial eligibility requirements does not guarantee that you qualify for Better Jobs Ontario. You must be assessed by one of our Employment Specialists.
