Telesales Representative

Hours: 8-Hour shift (Anytime between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM/Midnight) 40 Hour Work-week

Job-type: Permanent Full-time

Salary: $14 - $15.00/hour + Bonus & Incentives

Location: Yonge & Davisville

Language: Fluency in other languages such as French, Spanish etc considered a strong asset

Position Overview

As Telesales Representative (TSR) you may be requested to work as inbound or outbound queues (or both). Core responsibilities will include (but not limited to) resolving customer inquiries, upselling with high quality customer service with the best of the knowledge of products, systems and procedures. The training provided will include in depth knowledge and with the support of the team leaders will help you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively respond and resolve customers requests for information about the equipment, product, services and billing in a timely manner
  • Ensure to remain updated with product knowledge and strive to understand customer’s situation and proactively recognize the customer’s needs
  • Take full ownership of the customers requests with deep understanding of the trends in the products and service portfolio while promoting and servicing
  • Achieves sales objectives by promoting or selling available products or services
  • Understanding of data analysis to help provide additional services and special offers with enhanced solutions
  • Customer-First approach with exceptional customer service to exceed customer satisfaction
  • Understand data privacy to protect the client (SP Data) and its client’s brand image
  • Navigates tools provided/computerized system and accurately enters data which is integral for client’s data security and information management
  • Assists with projects and other responsibilities as assigned with the team lead

Requirements

  • Computer savvy and understanding of internet tools (E-mail, Internet, Windows navigation, & Data Entry)
  • Strong communication skills – including verbal and written ability to express clear thoughts
  • Ability to relate to people with different temperaments and personalities over the telephone
  • Ability to multi-task – listening and collecting thoughts and resolving the concern while working with the system and performing data entry tasks
  • Effective and accurate decision-making skills
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts or additional hours as per business needs with high sense of punctuality and importance to attendance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to move quickly with strategic decisions
