Toronto Community Employment Services (TCES) is a non-profit agency offering no cost employment services at our Central Toronto Location at the Northwest corner of Eglinton and Redpath. TCES connects job seekers to programs that promote access to opportunities that reflect the needs of newcomers, youths, and adults seeking employment as well as programming and services with emphasis on building skills and strengths. We help people of diverse backgrounds meet their economic and personal goals.

Find a job. We will assess your skills, knowledge, and strengths as well as interests and life experiences to find the perfect fit for you. We will assist you, from resume building, to job retention. We invite you to register with us online and join us at our information session and workshops.

At TCES, we provide the community with professional workshops that are specially designed to assist you on your road to employment. Through many years of experience, and collaborative teamwork within the organization, TCES has developed a variety of programs to enhance your abilities in landing a job and offers other services to further your career goals.

Job Coaching Workshop is a 2 half day workshop designed to teach you the fundamental skills-building a marketable resume, cover letters, to catch the employer’s attention, interview techniques, and job retention.

Career Decision Making is a halfday workshop to help you understand your abilities, strengths, and what the future holds for you. We do not believe in getting any job as our goal is to find the RIGHT job for one-on-one appointment with our professional employment counsellor.

Required Documents

All participants who are meeting with Toronto Community Employment Services (TCES) staff must bring proof of the following documents (as applicable) to their appointment:

  • Government-issued photo identification
  • Social Insurance Number
  • Resume
  • Education certificates and/or diploma

Additional documents may be required for Second Career and Apprenticeship programs.
